Atoms
About
Imagine yourself on a dysfunctional spaceship flying across the galaxy. Sounds scary? Don’t be afraid, you have a chance to save yourself and fix the vehicle. The only way to return home is to use stardust and produce various materials from elementary particles in your space laboratory. This game will help you and your kids to improve the knowledge of chemistry and elementary physics in an effortless and fun way. Combine the needed materials from elementary particles: U-quarks, D-quarks and electrons floating in the outer space. Join a U-quark and two D-quarks to make a neutron (n), a neutrally charged heavy particle of the atom. Produce a proton (p+), a positive atom particle, from two U-quarks and a D-quark. Use protons, neutrons and electrons in different combinations to get atoms. For example, a set of a neutron, a proton and an electron will give you hydrogen (H). If you join 8 particles of each type, you’ll get oxygen (O). A combination of 2 hydrogens and one oxygen will provide you with water, an essential element to survive on this spacecraft. Collide the particles, produce atoms and gather all the needed elements to get back to the Earth. See you on the blue planet!

How to play
Twist the cube to combine the particles into atoms from number 1 (hydrogen) to number 8 (oxygen). Use the twists to join the atoms together so that they make up an element from the list on the bottom of the screen. To win the game produce all the required molecules.
