The NY Product Design Awards was established with the purpose of honoring and recognizing product designers who contribute to the advancement of the field, regardless if the results are incremental or completely revolutionary. The Grand Jury is formed by the best designers, creative directors, design buro founders, and other prominent professionals all over the world. They choose winners among companies, teams, and individuals who create not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing designs. Also, they search for products that demonstrate beyond current era forms and looks and pave a path for future possibilities.
