Meet ATOMS: New WOWCube® Game

Our team has developed an amazing new game that is not only fun, but also educational. ATOMS game was designed by Anna, a young developer who created the Magic Cube game for the WOWCube Entertainment System a year ago, to teach older children and teenagers the basics of molecular and atomic structures: what atoms are made of, how subatomic particles combine together to make different atoms, and how different atoms can combine to create molecules.

In the game, the player must combine subatomic particles to create atoms, and then combine different atoms in order to create molecules by twisting the cube. This process demonstrates which combinations of particles make up atoms and molecules, giving the player a visual and interactive representation of the basic unit of a chemical element.

Atoms game is intended for children ages 10 or older, but can certainly be used by adults who are interested in learning about particles of matter and how they came to be. Atoms has the potential of being used in schools to help demonstrate the basic concepts of chemistry or physics taught to students, as it provides a visual aid for those who better understand concepts by sight.

The game is currently in production, with the first prototype completed. The art and sound of Atoms imitates a futuristic science fiction setting, creating an environment that encourages kids to think positively about science.

Atoms is being created in the WOWCube® DevKit that will soon be available for third party developers.
