The WOWCube© Systems comes with an entire store of games and applications. So, you can say that it is a gaming console from this point of view. But it's better.

You don't stare at the screen constantly because the shape of the cube and gameplays encourage a user to interact with it: rotate, observe from different angles, and hold it at arm's distance. We believe it puts less stress on users' eyes because it's a natural way we interact with daily objects.

Also, playing with the cube requires motor coordination and dexterity skill, which could be good for mental health, according to multiple research papers. Open API CubiOs Inc. is building an entirely new ecosystem of games, widgets, and apps for the WOWCube® Entertainment System by providing SDK and API for developers inspired by unique possibilities to create immersive-reality worlds on the next-gen cube.

We developed the Operation system, an open API, and an SDK to allow independent developers to create and sell their applications through the WOWCube® Application Store. What's Inside It may look like a simple toy, but it's a sophisticated device full of patented technologies and inventions. That's why we call it a system. The WOWCube© entertainment system looks like a cube made of 8 separate interconnected cubicle modules.

Each module is a separate tiny computer with three high-resolution screens, a speaker, and a CPU inside. Video games can run on all 24 screens covering 6 sides of the device simultaneously.

Modules are assembled in a way to be rotated by four in a layer around three mutually perpendicular axes. Multiple magnetic connectors on each module enable data transfer between autonomous modules on the fly. So, game characters can step or jump from one module to another. Magnetic connectors also distribute low voltage power across the WOWCube® Entertainment System. You don't need to charge each module separately; they all get power from one source via a proprietary patented charging station.

A game or application is a decentralized distributed program that works on 8 devices; the user changes the topology of their connection while playing. The CubiOS operating system maintains the integrity of everything. Game characters move from side to side. Game controls by switching geometry.

The device is covered with tempered glass, which is hard to break only if you throw the cube on the floor with strength (we have protective pads for that case). The corners are rounded for a smoother touch and feel. The screens are bright with a wide viewing angle, coated to minimize fingerprints, and darkened for a more excellent look.
